R.I.P Jackie Collins. No longer suffering.

I can only echo what has been said on here. I never read her books, but I am sorry she has died. I'm sure Joan will miss her sister tremendously - I certainly miss both mine.

Have never read a Jackie Collins novel. She did seem a strong character

So sad when you lose a loved one. My younger sister, just 61, died very suddenly and unexpectedly a couple of months ago. Heartbroken and devastated just doesn't convey how I feel so I know how Joan must be feeling. They may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts. RIP Jackie.

Her books weren`t my sort of read, but as a person I liked her, she came across as very hum an, with a great sense of humour. RIP

How nice that the sisters were close when there is so much bitchiness and back-biting in the celebrity world especially between siblings.

RIP Jackie.

I never read her books but always thought she was the nicer of the two sisters... she was a very strong person to keep that to herself for so long.. she'll be missed I'm sure.

I never read her books but I like both Joan and Jackie Collins.

I always thought they had a zest for life and looked like they made the most of what came their way.

To have had breast cancer for 6 years and keep that knowledge to close friends and family takes some doing and I am sure her sister will miss her very much.

She was on the One Show too and I would never have guessed she was so ill.

She was a feisty woman, I don't know where she found the strength to fly to London for Loose Women just days before she died!
RIP.

I was sorry to hear that Jackie Collins has died. I enjoyed her books. She never pretended they were great literature but they were enjoyable in their own genre. Apparently she didn't even tell her own sister she was ill. RIP.
