The Road to Little Dribbling

I have just read it. Very enjoyable but a bit like reading a travel episode of 'Grumpy Old Men'

I was pleased to read his favourable report of the Sea Marge hotel in Overstrand, Norfolk.....One of our all time favourite places.

Great!

He's at the Durham literary Festival this week but all the tickets sold out before we had time to get there. He has become a bit grumpy and he's only 63. He's still funny but looks a bit dishevelled.

I loved most of his books (apart from A Walk in the Woods which I found rather slow)
I must look out for this one

I love his books, I saw this one in W H Smith yesterday so eying it up for a me present for my birthday.

I read Notes From A Small Island a long time ago and enjoyed it. I have read a couple of reviews of this new one, I'd like to read it, I think I will put it on my Christmas list and ask one of my children to get it for me, they always want suggestions, I usually ask for a book.

It is now on my kindle and iPad.

I will put it on my wish list.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to lower the tone, but my first thought on reading the thread title was that this was a self help book for those unlucky enough to suffer from incontinence issues. #hangsheadinshame

Yes, it's on my list to read. I loved NFASI too so I'm looking forward to this one.

Am reading it now and thoroughly enjoying it. He writes so well and is so funny its a pleasure to read. He seems to find out such interesting information too.
