I am loving this!
Self-contained short stories/chapters within a whole makes for perfect reading. The characters are instantly recognisable and the description of an Edinburgh department store spot on. Thank you Jane Tulloch -may there be many more, I know I shall be devastated when I get to the end of this book and have to say Goodbye to the characters and to Murray's.

I have it on good authority that there may be a sequel, so you could meet up with them again!

Thanks for the recommendation, Alea. I've looked it up on Amazon and, although only one review so far - is it yours? - I really like the sound of it, and the price. I'm going to put it on my wish list.

No, not my review - yet!!?

Just noticed this! Thank you so much Alea for the lovely review. I know its trite but that sort of unexpected finding just made it all worth while. Book 2 is in production. I became so fond of the characters and the place that I sort of couldn't just leave them! So don't worry, life goes on at Murrays!

Jane10, I'm enjoying your book so much! I'm savouring it - not wanting to get to the end. Thanks again for my copy.
I do recognise the store! smile

I loved it! I loved the idea of having individual stories within a cohesive whole - characters from one chapter appearing or being mentioned subtly in another. The atmosphere created was perfect and I felt I really came to know the store and its staff. Very sorry to get to the end of this one!

Well done Jane, I am so looking forward to the sequel smile
