I was really pleased to receive these two books by Emma Brown as a prize as I have four young grandchildren, one of whom starts school in September. They are delightful with characters the author has crocheted herself and beautifully colourful pictures depicting the simple stories. The text is clear and kept the attention of my grandson and granddaughter, aged four and three, and the six year old enjoyed spotting Archie's pet bunny on each page. I thought they were both ideal as a stimulus to talking about the subjects.
Well done to Emma Brown who apparently is an expert in crocheting, and had already published one book with some of the same characters.
