September Book Club

Sunday today so no post.

I am still waiting for my copy of Septembers Book Club book, has anyone received theirs yet? I was hoping to see it by the weekend.

I messaged gransnet and publishers say they were sent out Friday 22nd i hope they come soon and that the book is worth the wait ☺

Monday and still nothing. Is it coming by snail mail?

Tuesday and still no book ☹️

No sign of mine either. Now back from our break and I was hoping it might be waiting for me here.....

perhaps there is no book! Did we dream it? Perhaps it only exists in a parallel universe!!

Perhaps we should all give our opinion and ask questions on a virtual book. Should be very interesting.

Did anyone else think the part where she dangled him out of a helicopter by his legs and threatened to drop him unless he increased her dress allowance stretched credibility a bit? ?

If they went out on the 22nd, five days ago, where might they be?

Well GNs I think we can safely say that the September Book is not going to appear - not in September anyway! First time this has happened in all the years of the Book Club but it would be worth knowing for sure if we should stop watching for the postman!

How do I join the book club please? I would like to be considered to be included in receiving a book. If I was chosen sometime it would be great.

rascal just fill out the form when they advertise the next month's book and you will go into the draw with all the others.

Oh right harrigran thank you. That's what to do, I've to look out for when they advertise the next book club draw. I have never noticed that before.

You might have to wait a long time for it though rascal , if this month is anything to go by.

Er, no.... But in desperation to have something to read, I have started a book of short stories from the library!
