Won a copy of this in a comp. here. Not really the sort of book that would catch my attention but I really enjoyed it. Well written, it is set in the 1930s and tells the ghost story of an expedition to the Himalayas. It does go into some detail but it is beautifully told and gripping right to the finish. Well worth a look and would make a good gift or stocking filler.

Hi Telly I won a copy too. Just finished reading mine. I enjoyed reading something very different from my usual genre. It was especially good to read in the evenings, helping to engage in the mood of the story even more. I could never watch horror movies in the eveningwhen I was in my 20s, far too scary! Certainly a page turner the further along you get. Well written, from beginning to end. Very atmospheric, especially in the quieter winter evenings! if you don't usually read ghost stories I would recommend Thin Air.
