April book not available .

Book is "Dear Mrs Bird".

I’m tried several times to enter the draw for the April book and getting a message to say that this is only available to members of GN and invites me to join. I’ve tried logging out and in again but it doesn’t make any difference. Been trying for a few days now.

I just don't understand this book club at all! I did receive the February book having fathomed out how to apply; missed the March book but then it was not available on Amazon until the end of December 2018 and am having the same difficulty as gillybob in applying for the April book.

I understood we should receive an email inviting us to apply for the monthly book but haven't received one for the April book.

How can I sign up for Gransnet when I am already a member and am logged in?

Yes, I've been having the same problem. I go to the competition and it just says at the bottom "This form is currently private and cannot be viewed by the public" and then invites me to sign up to GN

I should imagine that it means the application for this month's book has closed.
It is my experience that you need to apply near the middle of the month.
There is no email telling you to apply apart from the daily newsletter which does indeed come as an email and mentions the book when it becomes available.

I doubt that Greenfinch, as any competitions which have closed usually just say something to that effect, "this competition is now closed" or similar. That's not what's happening here.

OK Bathsheba but they do usually send out the books at / by the end of the month which is today.
