I’m saddened to learn of the death of Anita Shreve . One if my favourite authors too Teetime . I often think of her books whenever I walk on the beach and collect seaglass .

Brilliant author, I’m sure she’ll be regarded as a classic, in time.
I’ve several of her books on my ‘to read’ shelf. Maybe I’ll start one today.

Oh what sad news - Where or When is a book I've read over and over again, it just touches a certain time in my life. RIP.

A great author and story-teller; my favourite of hers is 'The last time they met'. Couldn't put it down.

A great story teller and now a huge loss. RIP

What a shame. I wonder why we haven’t heard about her death on the news. I didn’t see it in the papers either. When I consider some of the twaddlle that the BBC put on at the end of early evening news....

Sorry to hear this.

I agree with Lovetopaint, I have only found out by reading this thread today. I have enjoyed all her books and feel sad that there will be no more to look forward to.

I missed this too. I have read most of her books starting with The Pilot’s Wife years ago. I particularly liked Sea Glass and Fortune’s Rocks.
