Our copy of ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ is extremely well thumbed - it was GS’s go to book, and I have bought it for many other small children. We read all the Mog books too. Happy Birthday, Judith Kerr, and thank you!

I love her books!

She brought out the one about Mog dying (of course I can't remember what it's called - maybe Goodbye Mog?) at just the right time to help when a family cat died.

All children love her books. I can remember The Tiger Who Came To Tea pretty much word for word! I think my grandchildren saw the staged version, too, gillybob.

To my mind one of the great children’s authors of our time, this wonderful lady is 95 today and as spry and articulate as you could possibly imagine.
I remember reading “When Hitler stole pink rabbit” and my children and grandchildren (and I dare say yours ) were brought up on Mog the Forgetful Cat and The Tiger Who Came to Tea.
Many happy returns, Judith Kerr!
