Hi, not read it but read a couple of books by the same author and loved them, did a bit of research and it has a happy ending so cannot be that bad and might be just the thing to get you back into reading.

So, I used to be a huge reader, then when I got my divorce over 15 years ago I lost the desire to read.
This past christmas I picked up 2 books to try and entice me back into reading. One was a Nelson Demille book (the Cuban Affair which I quite enjoyed and actually finished. (insert applause)
The second, is "A Dogs Way Home". After what I have heard and seen about this one, it is a tear jerker.
Since I hit menopause I avoid tear jerker anything because it rocks me to my very soul and I slip into deep sadness which at times I can't control.
Can anyone tell me how bad this book might be? I am so sappy these days but I kinda want to give this book a try... see not only am I a sap, I can't even make up my own mind.
