On Amazon it told me it was only available as a pre-order for release in April 2020? I bought the Kindle version.

That's because it's only out in hardback now. The paperback is released in April.

I had an email a while back, Greenfinch, and another recently saying there'd been a delay in sending the books out. I'm looking forward to it arriving (it's the first one I've had in ages!).
