I have read it and enjoyed. If I remember rightly I read that it’s a sort of modern take on something by Shakespeare. Actually I am going to go and look that up in case I’m talking out of my backside ?

Anybody read this amazing novel? I can recommend it for a long involved absorbing read, over 500 pages. The author is David Wroblewski, and its about a young boy, who is born deaf. The family business is based on a farm, and they train a particular type of farm dog for people all over the region, and the young boy is learning all of this from his dearest father. But they fall on hard times, dads brother shows up out of the blue and there seems to be some history there between them all. How the boy copes with his deafness, and loves the puppies and training them, the conflicts with his mother and father really draw you in. Let me know if you have read this and what you think. If you havent read it, i can highly recommend it.
