40 something years ago we read this book together so often my children knew it off by heart. Now my youngest grandchild loves it in the same way his mother, aunts and older cousins did.
Thank you for bringing us so much pleasure across the generations, Eric Carle RIP.

I love Brown Bear, Brown Bear ?
I have got through so many copies.
It is invaluable for teaching EAL to young children.
I love his painted collage images.
The mixed up chameleon is very good too.
RIP Mr Carle

It's a classic. There can't be a Gran in the country who hasn't read the 'Very Hungry Caterpillar' to GCs several times.
