This is a brilliant book which I couldn't put down. Highly recommend it.

Thank you Sparklefizz.

New Books magazine have a review and an interview with Stonex in their Spring edition. County libraries are now starting to display magazines again after Covid regulations meant they had to stop.

I was very underwhelmed by it, found it quite dull in fact.

I've chosen this for our next book club read - I hope it's good!

Started it last ignt and enjoying the beautiful writing. Been reading a book I haven’t enjoyed and this is like a balm to ease my annoyance with the previous read.

What intrigued me even more Lovetopaint037 was that the author based it on a true story. I love a mystery!

Really enjoying this and as Sparklefizz mentioned the fact that the author was inspired to write this mystery by a true story adds further intrigue.

I really enjoyed my bookclub choice and hope my fellow members agree tonight - we don't always agree and sometimes I wonder if we've read the same book!

By the time I've plied them with dinner and enough wine they'll be compliant smile

I really enjoyed this book. It was full of fascinating details about the history of lighthouses and the mystery gradually unfolded through the revelations of the different characters.
