Have you read The Paper Palace by Miranda Cowley Heller? I’ve just finished it (loved it!) and wondered what anyone else’s view was on the ending, which was ambiguous. Did Elle stay with Peter or go to Jonas?
Anyone?

Yes I read it, I enjoyed it, one of my holiday books. I agree with you the ending was ambiguous, very much up in the air, wonder whether that's with a view to it being snapped up by Netflix or one of the others with a view to it being continued, or some sort of sequel being written, a bit like "The Affair" which was spun out for I think four series.

It would make a great film or TV series - though I can’t imagine the author deliberately included an ambiguous ending for that reason, as it’s her debut novel.

I hope she stayed with Peter and their children!

I loved this book! I think the ending is deliberately ambiguous so that readers can make up their own minds as to what Elle did. I hope she stayed with Peter.
