Oh yeah! Great PR stunt orchestrated no doubt by the Firms's PR team. Come on a walkabout in front of the world's media and thousands of people is supposed to heal a rift? Not in my experience. Don't we all have family members who are terribly polite at public functions like weddings and funerals but you know quite well they are at daggers drawn in private?

they had to do that because it became known that harry and meghan had planned to go out alone and had notified us tv for camaras to be there. on the news at the time.

Quokka You forget that before his marriage - and during his engagement and the early days of his marriage, almost everyone liked and admired Prince Harry. his military service, where, unlike Prince Andrew he was liked by those who served with him.

All but a few, felt that his marriage to a mixed race woman, with out intending, represented the multicultural society we are and now the Royal Family was joining it.

In fact everything in the garden was rosy, Until the behaviour of Prince Harry and his wife changed. he decided to cease to be a working royal, he wanted to live in the USA, we were sorry to see him go, but most of us shrugged our shoulders, then he and his wife started whingeing, endlessly whinging, about everything. Lack of money as they signed million dollar contract after million dollar contract. There families, despite families on both sides doing all they could to build bridges - and then they decided to make their living by telling their truths, mostly doubtful and frequently shown to be false.

Can you not see why the utterly disillusioned British people, or most of them, are fed up with the pair of them?

Could you please point out where I might find information on both families trying to build bridges? I certainly have never seen that.

He now has to read, because he will want to know what is said, a book which thousands will also be reading, which will be an in depth look at his family and how in the eyes of his son, he has been failed.I think this is so unfair, especially at a time when the King’s Mother has just died, and Charles will be assuming the duties of a King.
If you put aside the royal aspect, and imagine it is your son doing this, how would you feel?

Should any of my DSs decide to write their autobiography I hope I would read it and accept that their view of what happened in their life is valuable and may not completely match what I thought was happening. If they criticised me I hope I would have the guts to say sorry and accept their criticism.

Most people’s autobiographies are written with a professional writer.

Reading it himself is a mistake.
That should be done by a professional too.
Many, if not the majority, of audiobooks read by the writer are unlistenable; the reader really makes or breaks an audiobook.

I was never going to buy or read the book, but Audible have just offered me a free credit, with which I can pre-order Spare, written and narrated by the man himself.
That must have been a time consuming task and a chance to revisit everything he wrote and suffer it all over again. I wonder if it will be unabridged?

Harry will definitely regret this petty outburst because Charles has threatened to remove their titles and I doubt if they would like to become commoners like us, plain Mr and Mrs.

It would do him good to sample the real world. I'm tired of the pair of them, moaning, whinging and spending like there is no tomorrow. Hapless Hawwry should have found a normal grounded girl not a narcissist with a huge ego, she has just jumped on the bandwagon, all because she could not be top dog and have things her way. Charlie should remove all the titles and leave them to "build their life overseas", which may mean getting an actual job. I hope nobody buys his book "Woe is me'".
