Alice Monroe has died!

Well she was 92 but over the years she has given me much pleasure. Her ability to write short stories that engaged me and gave me so much pleasure was second to none. RIP Alice Monroe, I will miss your stories.

I loved her work. She primarily wrote about women in ordinary lives but made them extraordinary.

I agree . Super writer. I didn't realise she was still alive. she isn't 😔
