Trying to decide whether to buy this or not. Have read differing reviews. I don’t mind big books as this was a criticism I read. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Yes I did Lovetopaint, at the beginning of the year, I can't remember what I thought of it now, so I'm just going to reread what I wrote on the book thread. So yes, I was positive about the book, but books by nature are subjective, it was fairly long, I think it was nominated for the Booker, bleak in parts, it would depend on personal taste as to whether you would like it or not. I did post a review on page 8 of the first "BRAND NEW 2024 - 50 BOOK CHALLENGE" if you want the finer details, of which I've forgotten. I tend to remember more about books I've really loved.

No! not yet! But it is on the shelf, waiting to be read!! I had positive feedback from friends so I'm looking forward to it.

Yes I’ve read The Bee Sting, I couldn’t put it down and it’s not normally a book I would have picked up but it was recommended to me in Waterstones

Yes, "The Bee Sting" by Paul Murray is a gripping novel with rich characters and humor.
It's definitely worth reading if you enjoy insightful, well-crafted stories.

Yes I agree DrBenjaminMc . I am really enjoying it. Way over half way through and really enjoying the exploration of the characters.
