Maybe because we can't see what you're doing, it's hard to help.

I press the button and nothing happen !!!

My local library has info on its website about how to do it.
You "borrow" the books abd if they are popular you sometimes have to reserve them. They obviously have so many licenses and so you have to wait.

Not always though - and you can filter for "available now".

You need to install the app, and apply with your library details.
It’s very easy to do and a great resource.

I listen to Audible, BorrowBox books and Libby books from my iPad or iPhone, played through a Sonos speaker at home.

The volume can be adjusted on the device or the speaker without any problems.
No problems through the car system either.

How does the Borrowbox scheme work, please? Does the library send a recording and in what format? Please excuse my ignorance!

You can listen to Audible via Alexa.

Can you uninstall and reinstall the app?

I'm assuming you are running the app.

Is it the device you're using rather than Audible itself?

If you are sure it's Audible, then you could try Amazon customer services to see if they can help. I have always found them very helpful.

I use Borrowbox mainly as it's free from the library - I haven't had your volume issues though.
