Hi, I’ve just joined the Gransnet Community and finding my way around. But wanted to say that I’ve also read all the Tim Sullivan books and loved them. George Cross’s traits are spot on.

Thank you for recommending these books. I have ordered a couple from Amazon, and am halfway through the first one, enjoying it very much.

I enjoyed McDonald and Dobbs on television so thank you for bringing the books to my attention.
I shall investigate now.

Have read & enjoyed these. I borrowed them from our local library. Odd that they changed the lead character's name when these were made into the series "McDonald & Dobbs". (Series 3 is starting on ITV.) IMO Jason Watkins is brilliant in the role of "Dobbs". Books and TV series highly recommended!

Yes I remember Monk. His OCD was painful to watch, but he got results. You can still see it on TV now.

Sounds really good.

Does anyone remember the TV series Monk about a detective with various OCDs.

Thanks for that. I’ll have a look.

There are 6 in the series with another one coming next year. All fantastic reads.

Thanks Witzend
I'll have a look.

Yes, have read them all 👍
I hoping that there will be another one out in the not too distant future
Think the last one was The Teacher.

Anyone else? Found them recently via Amazon 99p Kindle offers. They feature a detective with Asperger’s, whose highly effective methods are largely down to that condition. Highly intelligent writing and a welcome absence of the usual cliches, wife/girlfriend trouble etc.
