The first book I read by Lisa See was
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.
Today I was sent a link to Lady Tan’s Circle of Women
99p for my Kindle today.
Starting that was a mistake, as dinner will now be late!

The Island of The Sea Women is another fabulous book by Lisa See. So much in it to think about.
Thanks for suggesting the other two.

I agree, The Island of Sea Women is an eye opening book. Our book group read it; we had no idea about that community.

Just bought Lady Tan. Thank you for recommendation. Got it for 99p. Never heard of this author. Eager anticipation 👍

Thanks for the mention of the Island of Sea Women J52. That’s currently 99p too so now I’ve got them both on my TBR pile.

Thank you for the recommendation. This is a new author for me so looking forward to reading her books. Saw there were a few on Apple Books for 99p. Must admit I do like a book but the paperbacks are over £9. Have spent a lot on books lately so may resort to the iPad.

Update. I read the Teagirl from Hummimg Bird Lane (a book). Most of the Seawomen downloaded for 99pbut Apple have changed their format and no longer can I find a way of holding the place. It then only rolls down and no matter what I tried it won’t allow me to turn pages. So lost my place and my interest three quarters of the way in.
However, I am now reading Lady Tan’s Circle of Women and really enjoying it. Again it is a book.
