I am using my Kindle Fire to access Gransnet since my PC died, and getting increasingly frustrated with the predictive text. It doesn't just suggest what it thinks I meant to type, it alters things after I have moved on to a new word or sentence. It even insisted twice that I meant "both" when I had typed "gory" - after I had gone back, deleted " both" and carefully typed "gory" again.
I can't find any way to switch off the predictive t ext Does any other Kindle user have any ideas.
( I accidentally put a space into "text" and afterwards went back to correct it. It then TWICE predicted that I was right first time and kept the space. I am leaving it there as evidence.
