If you like cosy crime novels with good characters and excellent humorous writing the Frank Grasby books are for you. There have been two so far both with a Christmas setting. I bought the first one on kindle after reading a review then forgot about it until I read a review of the second one. I'm so glad I remembered my initial purchase and gave it a try. The books were both consumed in days as they're so good.

We are both great fans of Denzil. Haven’t read the Christmas ones yet. Hoping that Santa brings them.

How very coincidental that yesterday I received a Kindle notification about Murder at Holly House.
When I tried to order it I was told it was in my library , bought last December so I have started rereading it.
Great fun as well as a mystery.

I have now ordered The Christmas Stocking Murders which I will read later , in December.

It was lovely reading it yesterday with the snow outside. Really cosy Christmassy read

I love Denzil Meyrick`s books set in Kintyre, an area that I love. It`s fun to work out where he`s writing about, because obviously the place names are changed.

Are they quite serious Hellogirl1? I mean sort of crime thrillers.

Crime thrillers with a touch of humour.
