A mite worrying that she doesn’t have a TBR pile, though…

Not a risk in my house...

When I was younger, I would very often get the vacuum cleaner out, plug it in , and leave it in a prominent place around the house. I would then return to reading my book. If anyone called around, I was ‘just in the middle of vacuuming’. Simple

If I could do one thing for the rest of eternity, I would read.
Nothing gives me greater pleasure! Although a yearst-extract sandwich comes a good second & both together is absolutely blissfull. I'm easily pleased. Forget diamonds, just give me a tasty, yeasty noggy & an interesting tome!😊

Another day has passed and the house needs sorting ,but reading is far more enjoyable.

Just had a message from our holiday host to say they have a problem with SFR so no WIFI.
My case is now half full with books.

Books TBR are just as important as enough money in the bank. I have a huge collection: actual books, Kindle editions, audio books.

I'm having a bad day today, but that really made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that Witzend.

This is a little piece about piles of books waiting to be read.

Thanks Witzend. Made me laugh but I'm at an age now where enjoyable things like reading come way before cleaning.
