Any similar authors like Anthony Horowitz?

I absolutely love Anthony Horowitz books and eagerly await new releases.
His writing and plots are superb smile
Does anybody have any recommendations for similiar high calibre storytellers/authors I can read? Thank you

Hi Pearly34, I can recommend Winter in Madrid & Dominion by CS Sansom and also Magpie Lane by Lucy Atkins. Helen Dunmore and Kate Atkinson too. Wonderful writers all!

I also love Anthony Horowitz, especially his Hawthorne series. He has a great style and clever plots.
The only book that came to mind as similar is Everyone on This Train Is a Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson. Have you read it?
