My husband is recovering well, and I work part-time, but I'm peeved that the 6 month review team did not seem to want to speak to me, and stood up to go when I was about to get my list of queries. As the sole carer I felt ignored. Moreover, we had no idea of the professional qualifications of the 2 people who visited - I suspect they are admin people, and not medically qualified, abut I don't know, as they never introduced themselves properly. I am unhappy about this as we thought the review was an important milestone for us, and an opportunity to discuss recovery, further goals etc. It was quite insulting to have strangers come into one's home and not engage in helpful chat - just tick their own boxes.
To think that London, or anywhere else for that matter, does not belong to any one demographic
