Waterproof wet bag for 'accidents' when out

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a reliable wet bag to pop in the carer bag to put wet clothes in incase of accidents when out?

Ideally I'd like to be able to machine wash it to 60degrees. But definitely needs to be washable, and fully waterproof.

I just went to purchase online, thinking it would be easy as there seem to be tons to chose from, especially on Amazon. However, it's alarming how many have reviews (on other websites too) that they're 'not totally waterproof' and 'leak over the other contents of bag' etc... I'd forgotten how many items on sale across the board aren't fit for purpose these days!

Does anyone have any tried and tested ones you use either for your parents or your grandbaby/toddlers??

Thank you

Try any of the reputable period underwear manufacturers. Any I have bought from sell discreetly bags to transport pants before washing. (if that’s not too cryptic!)

Thank you, was my first idea but I'm concerned they'd leak. I filled one with air and squeezed lightly and there were a few 'puffs' of air coming out in various places along the seams... doesn't bode too well for liquid.

Have had a little look but they're all rather small ... wouldn't fit Mum's trousers if need be.
I always seem to be looking for something that doesn't quite exist, oh dear.

How about a dry bag, designed for camping. It’s 100% waterproof, so it would keep wet stuff in as well as dry stuff from getting wet?

What about a wet bag for swimming, lidles selling them a couple of weeks ago, may be too big to go inside another bag though- I would go with a zip lock bag as suggested on here

Could have been called a dry bag actually as Casdon as said for camping

The solution is a “dry bag”. The best ones are “Exped”. Good choice of sizes and colours. Can be rinsed out and washed in Napisan or equivalent to disinfect. Buy in a good outdoor shop. Also a “boat bag” used by kayakers and sailors to keep items dry.
I travel with a set of small Exped bags for may medications and a heavy duty dry bag as luggage.

I use large zip freezer bags, the sort you can keep soup in.
Cheap option and easy to pop in your bag.

A waterproof wet bag is ideal for storing soiled items discreetly during outings, keeping moisture and odors contained.
