I'm struggling to find self contained holiday accommodation for me, hubby and 94 year old dad. Dad is not very good on his feet and needs, an ensuite with toilet riser (with bars), walk in shower. We need a separate bedroom and bathroom. He uses a wheelchair when outside. Anyone had any luck anywhere in Derbyshire or close by.
I can either see limited facilities of full blown with hoists etc.

I don't know about self contained accommodation. But Premier inn have accessible rooms for walking and wheelchair disabled. Which are large and the shower room or bathroom is the size of a double bedroom..
The rooms have twin beds for disabled person and friend or carer . Plus the beds can be joined together. I have to have it joined as I would fall out of a single bed . Beds are low so easy to get in and out . Found staff very helpful in all aspects of my needs .

Charities for the disabled eg with arthritis will have details of suitable accommodation

I second what Whiff says.

We have used Premier Inn's accessible rooms on a number of occasions. The shower rooms are roomy, with plenty of handrails.
