Christmas gifts for care home staff

As a carer in a care home I can say that chocolates or biscuits for our staffroom are always appreciated.😃
Come to that, for relatives giving presents to their family member in a care home, boxes or tins of biscuits are a great choice for them.Very kind of you to think of them.

I usually get some nice soap and handcream for the staff loo for carers in my SiL’s home.

One year I did a lucky dip with mini toiletries, but that was very expensive.

Oh gosh, I used to take biscuits and chocolate for the staff in my mum’s nursing home, big boxes of wrapped items in the interests of hygiene. They were always well received but apparently that was lazy! I also took a fruit basket.
In a place where there were people of many nationalities, religions, gender and preferences it was difficult to make sure I was not excluding anyone. Good luck.

I posted a big box of hand creams on behalf of my daughter to the intensive care ward my grandson was in.
Yes, it was expensive but I rang ahead for the number of staff and added a few.
I was well aware of how much hand washing (and gloving) was involved and had chatted about it with staff.
I thought something would suit everyone.
They were all suitable for vegans and from a well known "natural" type brand.
As someone said upthread it is much more expensive of course.

I have taken fruit rather than biscuits to other places where a joint gift is appropriate.

Once I sent a box of mixed individual fancy tea bags in lots of varieties (including fruit tea types).
