Has anybody tried these. I was at a music festival last weekend, and thought I would give it a 'go'. You are given this tiny paper cone and written instructions. You must have a good aim and not panic. Well obviously my aim was not good and I panicked!!! Never again.
Thanks to all of you I am now the proud owner of a Whizz!! I read all the reviews and decided that this might be the most suitable for me . I've tried it out twice today in the security of the bathroom with great success. Also got the Travel John in case we get caught short when the loos are locked!
Just so you lot know......I think reading this thread has had dire effects. I had a strange dream last night all very odd and graphic....luckily it was only a dream tho!
I'm using my shewee a lot at the mo, and the compost heaps are benfitting, because the water people keep turning the water off so they can mend the three thousand leaks in our village. No running water today, Wed or Fri this week. Off two days last week. Every bucket and other suitable water receptacle in the house is full. Moral of the story: go to the loo early! (they turn it off at 8am usually).
Don't joke about such things, depending on what I am turning, you are very nearly right, some woods, like padauk, are not only dusty, but they also stain carpets etc.
I have a bucket in my workshop that gets emptied onto the compost. I'm not too lazy to go indoors, just too scared !! Being a woodturner, I get covered in wood shavings and dust, Mrs. P goes spare if I shed shavings indoors.
I'm off on a train tomorrow from London to Cornwall and my new Shewee will be useful I'm sure. Will save that awful "squat-hover" above a filthy loo on the moving train
MumMum - the TravelJohn has an integrated container, with very absorbent crystals in it. I would buy both TJ and shewee, belt and braces, shewee for when you can aim it somewhere, TJ when you can't.
I've just found Gransnet thanks to the Times article! Have really chuckled at this chat! I've been wondering about whether to get one of these devices as I am going to Beijing by train from the UK soon, and I understand that the toilets are locked at border crossings......maybe for a couple of hours ! Think I'll need to take a suitable container as well
