The only Easter Hymn I can remember from school is On a green hill far away.

Now the green shoot riseth. It's an Easter hymn set to the French traditional tune Nouvelle Nouvelée.

That last one is a beautiful video. Lovely graphics and a good bit of stonking piano to endeavour keep you in tune.

Well jingle I have done nothing but sing 'Make me a channel' since last night cant get it out of my head!!! Personally I think it sounds fantastic but I dont know if anyone would agree.

susie they mess about with the tune sometimes use a modern alternative to Oh Jesus.... I quite like the new one, but it means the old tune is getting feinter in my memory! Shame that is.

Can't find a "Find us together". There is a "Bind us together". Could it be that? No you tube but you can do-t-yourself if you play the guitar.

susieb ... Oh Jesus I have Promised is my favourite too. My Mum loved it and she went to a a Wesleyan Church (i went to the Sunday school) and we often used to sing it while we were washing up together when I was a child.
The night before she died she was heavily sedated and I sat with her all night holding her hand trying to remember the words to her favourite hymns (can't sing for toffee..but no-one could hear me).
Oh Jesus I have Promised was one I could remember and we also had it at her funeral.

I also love 'Now thank we all our God' which we had at our wedding.

It's a classic! - in fact, I think we had it!

My ILs had 'For those in peril on the sea'. Dont know whose choice it was And no FIL was not a sailor.
