Daffodils - love em?

OOps I just tried to reply to the first post, I think! I love daffodils, because for me they herald Spring...but if I can't have them in the house because they make me sneeze !

Lovely to see that splash of yellow after a dull winter. Daffodils, aconites, crocuses, hyacinths and then tulips - love 'em all. And flowering cherry blossom - it is as if the world is coming to life again.

Once the flower heads have gone, it takes so blooming long for the foliage to die down; otherwise I love all the different forms and shades you can get now. Daffodils ain't just plain old daffodils any more....

Although I generally dislike the colour yellow, I love daffodils. The people from whom we bought this house two years also disliked daffodils ... I'm delighted to say the garden is now FULL of them! :O)

Who cannot like daffodils they bring the countryside to life in the spring,live in a high rise flat and see if you find them over rated I think you would change your opinion then,not that I live in a high rise but just imagine.

My friend thinks they are ''too noisy'' ,they are like trumpets. I think they are like trumpets heralding the spring. I've just thought of another word to describe them , haven't used it for years - harbinger. How about that!

Daffodils = Spring is a coming with all the other spring flowers, lighter mornings and evenings and hopefully sunshine, Yes, I like them

Christmas is already being dressed in daffodils (from the cloudy grassland of Australia)
