I'm in vodka is not really my drink but I'll give it a go to be sociable and you will never notice when I swap to gin.

Count me in jeni , when is it? Hmmm vodka jelly.

Jacey Thu 22-Mar-12 14:55:58

Count me in too ...as long as we get vodka in a glass or two, grin not just in a jelly!! I especiaaly like the raspberry vodka that the swedes produce!! find the true russian stuff a bit too strong!! shock

Any drink you like folks. How about Friday night?
As an alternative part to the existing ones, only one subject will be banned!

Should read party! And I haven't had a drop yet! Honest!

Notsogrand Thu 22-Mar-12 15:14:26

I can manage a vodka or three. Just don't let me near any gin....makes me cry and I don't want to dilute the vodka.

nanachrissy Thu 22-Mar-12 15:17:09

Count me in Jeni, my table got too crowded for me! smile

jeni Thu 22-Mar-12 15:23:16

Looks like the usual crowd!
Just remember ladies this a serious alternative virtual party and as such is very serious! [stern] emoticon grin

Anagram Thu 22-Mar-12 15:27:53

I'll be there, Jeni, although I can't promise to be serious all the time....depends how many vodka jellies I get through.....

jeni Thu 22-Mar-12 15:29:49

anagramgrin

Carol Thu 22-Mar-12 15:35:45

Awwww I suppose I'd better join in, too (brilliant!)

Annobel Thu 22-Mar-12 15:54:44

Count me in with the usual suspects! Not normally a vodka fan, unless it's those delightful ones flavoured with all sorts of berries. Had a vodka sorbet once which was really addictive.

nanachrissy Thu 22-Mar-12 15:54:54

Ok I think we're going to need considerably bigger jellies! --Carol's coming

nanachrissy Thu 22-Mar-12 15:55:51

Ooops! Should have crossed that out!! blush sorry Carol xxxxxxxx

Have we to bring suggestions for policies (free vodka jellies for over 50s? No road tax on broomsticks?)

jeni Thu 22-Mar-12 16:02:25

Absolutely!

jeni Thu 22-Mar-12 16:11:03

This is the FUN party!
Be ready with your policies tomorrow night! I like the idea of no road tax for broomsticks! What about chariots?

Elegran Thu 22-Mar-12 16:13:36

Rated per wheel - light 2-wheelers less tax than great big gold state affairs. If anyone can invent a one-wheeled chariot that does not fall over, it would be free of tax.

Elegran Thu 22-Mar-12 16:15:20

Maybe if it were pulled through the air by unicorns it would stay upright. We need certificated engineers to do some blueprints.

Anagram Thu 22-Mar-12 16:17:18

Wouldn't broomsticks be liable for some sort of "air tax"?
Abolish it anyway!

petallus Thu 22-Mar-12 16:20:56

Just got back from seeing 'The Artist'. Hope I'm not too late because I want to be under the table with the vodka jelly.

Elegran Thu 22-Mar-12 16:25:54

Broomsticks have no wheels. They are exempt.

jeni Thu 22-Mar-12 16:36:48

Neither do gliders do they?

eGJ Thu 22-Mar-12 16:37:18

Only just arrived; is there still room under the table? I'll bring some virtual chocolate brandy cake.
