I second what Glamamamma says - I turn my back for a nanosecond - well, an afternoon- and suddenly there are 50 replies to a vodka jelly party. Am I too late? I make a mean vodka jelly and am an excellent connoisseur so if you need any tasted I'm your nan as it weregrin

Oh well.... you really don't want to see me in my jewels and nothing else!

If I bring the Prince's Ginger Liqueur, made from organic vodka, specially selected and shipped for HRH, may I come too, please.
Do you think he'll lend me a royal polo pony (swerving a speciality, should I need to make a fast getaway)?
Jeni what time are we expected? O.K. if I change when I get there?

bagitha Fri 23-Mar-12 10:44:56

Noway! chrissy! They're MINE, MINE! So you can stop your "what has she got in her pocketses?" routine! wink

jeni Fri 23-Mar-12 11:38:50

Mm?

Anagram Fri 23-Mar-12 11:57:35

Er...will there be people sitting around our table, Jeni? It might cramp our style a bit if we have to accommodate strange feet as well.....shock

jeni Fri 23-Mar-12 12:56:15

Not unless you lot do a first and end up at the table rather than under it!grin

Anagram Fri 23-Mar-12 13:08:15

Hmmm...might end up on it! grin

I've been experimenting with different flovoured jellies. The Cointreau jelly hasn't set very well but I have some straws. The Baileys jelly has set and looks like a taupe coloured blancmange. It has a good wobble. My favourite is the Malibu jelly. To liven up the look of it, I snipped in bits of a certain leaf wink, which are all nicely suspended in the set jelly.
See you at 7pm!

Anagram Fri 23-Mar-12 14:21:40

Notsogrand, I hope this certain leaf is not privet - it's poisonous, you know!

Annobel Fri 23-Mar-12 14:36:12

I've put a G&T jelly in the fridge. I'm about to experiment with a bucks fizz one though that might be a bit tame for some of you.

Notsogrand Fri 23-Mar-12 15:26:58

It's not privet Anagram. grin

GoldenGran Fri 23-Mar-12 15:28:43

GoldenGran Fri 23-Mar-12 15:29:28

Jacey Fri 23-Mar-12 19:07:09

wotsamashedupjingl Fri 23-Mar-12 19:14:49

shock Notso I'm telling!!!

Did you grow it? Can you send me a few seeds

petallus Fri 23-Mar-12 19:16:37

I'd like a green jelly if there is one.

glassortwo Fri 23-Mar-12 19:35:41

Can I have a raspberry jelly please?

Oldgreymare Fri 23-Mar-12 19:39:51

On my way, Camilla rode the polo pony this afternoon, just in case it was a bit frisky. These jodhpurs do nothing for me, so glad I've got something more appropriate to change into, found a nice Russian peasant outfit at the local dress hire shop.... thought it would go with the vodka theme.

nelliedeane Fri 23-Mar-12 19:50:27

following the Russian theme shall rename myself Benylinchestycoff,my offering for the night shall be a nice Russian peasant who thought he would like to be invited..is this allowed and is there room.wine

Anagram Fri 23-Mar-12 20:02:00

Hi, all, am I late? Sorry, I had to watch -Coronation Street- a very important documentary on BBC 4. Where's our hostess?

petallus Fri 23-Mar-12 20:03:24

This is a bit of a quiet party. We shall have far too much jelly left over.
