I am please you enjoyed it jingle. During the time I lived in Caversham I started reading Jean Plaidy books around the time of Henry VIII's daughter's Mary and Anne. It is all quite fascinating, but still hard to work out who came where.
Faye. I'm glad you did mention it, I think! I spent hours online wasting time trying to work out who married who, and who was the son of which one, and who got killed in battle!
I must confess it was me, I thought I had stopped that thread in its tracks, it went very silent. I though now they will never speak to me for spoiling their illusions to the pretenders Royal Family.
I think it's a wonderful story. What would actually happen if the new 'King' decided to oust our current Royal family? Would there be any support? Would he end up hiding in an oak eucalyptus tree a la Charles II? What would the Aussies think of his claim? It would make a good film / novel
