Tea to help you sleep?

I too like herbal teas with a spoonful of honey, I suspect the sugar helps with the feeling of well-being and sleepiness!

I drink Pukka 'Night time' or Peppermint tea if feeling a bit nauseous.-I like the taste of either.sometimes add a spoonful of honey.

I've ordered some rooibos and some camomile tea, they do not contain caffeine, so will give them a try.

Camomile for me but if I have indigestion which is bound to keep keep me awake I drink peppermint tea.

Yes, I've tried not drinking after, say, 6 p.m. and I still have to get up in the night. I've also tried milk and it makes no difference - so I may as well stick with tea!

My mother thinks camomile tea is helpful. I drink blueberry tea in the evening but more as a way of avoiding caffeine late in the day than for any sleep-inducing effect. I still have to get up for the loo even if I go to bed thirsty (and always have, ever since my teens), so I don't go to bed thirsty.

Pg tips or typhoo,tea doesn't keep me awake....however after a big mug running to the loo several times does grin

Well obviously there's the usual herbal stuff but I favour hot milk with vanilla essence in it.

Anything is caffiene in is best avoided in the evenings but DH sometimes drinks something called sleepy tea. I never touch the stuff!
