Sorry to be late replying - I have been taking my car for its Controle Technique - the French MOT. It passed!
I wake very early, about 6 a.m. which is 5 a.m. UK time and there is usually nobody else around except bags. I trawl most of the UK papers and a couple of French papers but I can't remember in which one I found this story.

Japanese children are even more ignorant about atrocities committed by their country during WW2. My father lost several good friends in Stanley POW Camp in Hong Kong, they died under terrible conditions and against all rules of the Geneva Convention.
