Dear Anagram,

yes, thank you so much! It should say 1964! I updated in my survey! Great of you to point this out! I appreciate it!

Shouldn't this type of query be on the media thread ?

Anagram Thu 26-Jul-12 13:09:24

Did you take our point about the term 'baby boomers', Kathy?

Kathy this is the response I got when I clicked on your link:

Your search - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7YRH89K - did not match any documents.

Can you give it us again, please?

Kathy the link isn't working for me...

Hi - I am the person conducting the survey and the survey is solely for the purposes of my dissertation and all information will be treated anonymously. I don't ask for personal information such as names or date of birth. I am solely asking for demographics such as age (because it is vital to my study), educational background, etc. I posted the link on here because I do not have a vast network of British people that were born between 1946 and 1968. Anyone that would be willing to participate would help me very much. I am trying to get around 100 responses. Please don't take offense in this - it is really purely for me to gather information on how British Baby Boomers make their consumer decisions.

That is the usual confusion. So many peole are unaware that a baby-boomer was someone born into the baby boom just after WWII and think that it means someone born into an economic boom - which was emphatically not the case in the immediate post-war years or for some time afterwards.

Anagram Thu 26-Jul-12 12:25:11

You're right, goldengirl! They'd only be 44 now....hmm

goldengirl Thu 26-Jul-12 12:08:35

Why is this reported? It's a wellknown survey site. Is it not bona fide? I wouldn't call 1968 a baby boomer period though!

Anagram Thu 26-Jul-12 11:31:18

Why?

Dear all,

I am an MBA student at Durham University and I am currently conducting a business project in light of my dissertation. I am trying to determine the main differences in consumer decision-making styles between German and UK baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1968). I am looking for British citizens that fall into that age bracket and would be willing to participate in an online survey that takes about 5 minutes. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here is the link to the survey:

Thank you so much for taking the time to participate! You really helped me out a lot!
