Now then, granjura, just whom are you accusing of twisting your arm? confused

Can't be bothered with chocolate but love cheese. I have a special fondness for Stinking Bishop as it's made by a small cheesemaker and so not a lot is around each year. However, I have my source …

Now look what YOU have made me do! Just had a (small) lump of our local Gruyère and a square of dark sesame seed chocolate!

Gracemum I live in Comté and Gruyère, Morbier, Tomme country - but I also love a really good cheddar, Stilton or Red Leicester.

Both - but the cheese has to be very good- no point in getting calories from tasteless rubbery cheese. And the chocolate dark, 70%. Both in small amounts but chewed slowly and with relish.

Cheeese, cheese, cheese. Strong cheese.

I once went on a de-tox diet that was dairy free. It was supposed to be for six months (I know, ridiculous). The advert for Cathedral City on toast cut right through my will power. I love it. grin

Chocolate chocolate chocolate. Love cheese but no contest. Sadly for my body.

Definately cheese. Probably my favourite food. When I first left home I think I lived on Edam and apples. Edam doesn't taste as good as it did then, though. In fact, I now want to eat some and may have to go shopping to do so.

Alright Anagram - I suppose when it comes down to it, I could never live without cheese - Brie, Port Salut, Stilton, Compte, Haloumi, Gruyere....I love them all. My idea of heaven is a light meal followed by a hefty cheeseboard grin

Anagram Wed 08-Aug-12 14:07:15

That's not playing the game! [sniff]

Lilygran Wed 08-Aug-12 13:53:56

Right on, When! I'm with you. wink

Mmm - not sure, to be honest. I like them both equally, but it depends on my mood. And, for me, it has to be Cheddar. I think I am the only person I know who used to take huge slabs of Cheddar cheese with me to France when we went there on holiday. I loved the bread, but it had to have some nice tasty Cheddar on it. At the start of the holiday I would generously allow the rest of the family some of my cheese, but by the end I was eeking it out!

kittylester Wed 08-Aug-12 13:52:56

Or all three grin

whenim64 Wed 08-Aug-12 13:50:36

Why choose, when you can have both? grin

Anagram Wed 08-Aug-12 13:35:04

Cheese, cheese, cheese!
Definitely cheese! grin

gracesmum Wed 08-Aug-12 13:09:11

Nicking Consumer testing a bit of Comte from the fridge, I got to wondering which out of cheese or chocolate I could not live without. I think in my case it would be cheese, but what do you think?
(And isn't it strange that they both wreck diets and both begin with "ch" - as does chardonnay!!!) smile
