Glasgow meet up, Newcastle meet up, Midlands meet up..

When we met up in Glasgow, johanna, we almost forgot to order lunch, we were talking so much!

Good to meet glass absent jane and harri and looking forward to meeting up again for the Edinburgh jaunt. We enjoyed a breezy but sunny lunchtime on the Quayside with plenty of wine and tapas! I even managed to find my way to the station on my own (can't go wrong really as it's well signed!!)

I assumed you were walking back with absent and glass you could have come with me and got a lift, DH had just been off to the wine merchants to stock up.

No prob harri, the exercise did me good! I'm pleased you managed to link up eventually with DH

moomin pleased you managed to find your way back to the station its straight forward, about 30mins after you left I did wonder if you had arrived. I got home around 8pm and have yet to hear if absent got home!

I had a lovely afternoon I enjoyed meeting up with you all and look foward to Edinburgh, we were so busy chatting we didnt take any photos for the GN meeting photo collection. It was a breezy afternoon sat on the terrace of the Tapas restaurant but so nice to be out in the sunshine after such a miserable summer.

It was a lovely afternoon and it was great being able to meet the other grannies. Yes, I did get home safely but parted company with the mobile phone en route. As Mr absent usually has the phone and I only take it on rare occasions, he is very cross with me and I am in disgrace.

How nice to hear you all had such a sunny and sunshiny day.
