Apart from choosing a new name, I've been slathering Germolene on insect bites - how lovely is that? My new name doesn't make one think of Germolene and insect bites! It's the time of year for these and I'm covered in large itchy bumps...grin

number, fingers crossed for Pepper. Is he chipped? My DiL's cat turned up about a km away after 5 weeks.

Great news for your son Anno.
No, Pepper still isn`t back, people keep saying he`ll be back, but I`m getting that awful feeling........ Little grandson is sleeping here tonight, keeps asking where Pepper is. sad

annodomini Sat 22-Sept-12 22:13:20

wine Claret, Ariadne?

Ana Sat 22-Sept-12 21:12:00

It's supposed to be a glass of wine, Ariadne...what are you seeing? Is it different on your screen?

Ariadne Sat 22-Sept-12 21:03:57

But what is it?

NfkDumpling Sat 22-Sept-12 19:27:53

Had a beautiful afternoon. DH and I went sailing in our little boat with DD2, DGD2 and SiL2. It was a perfect autumn day. Lovely, lovely, lovely! Hopefully they enjoyed it enough to want to come again.

Ana Sat 22-Sept-12 19:22:16

Looks like wine to me, Ariadne! confused

Ariadne Sat 22-Sept-12 19:15:54

That was meant to be wine! What happened?

CeliaGransnet (GNHQ) Sat 22-Sept-12 19:10:44

Greatnan Really sorry to hear you are still having problems. We will look into it again, I promise - please bear with us.

Butternut Sat 22-Sept-12 19:10:22

What a lovely day, Ariadne. Sleep well!

Greatnan Sat 22-Sept-12 19:01:54

CeliaGransnet - I just tried again, for about the 50th time. I get as far as pressing 'Send' and the little wheel goes round and round - then I get 'Cannot display the web page'. I have given up now.

Ariadne Sat 22-Sept-12 18:45:14

Oh, I am having such a lovely relaxing time here in Cheltenham with DS2 and family, and sleeping like there is no tomorrow. Today, the little girls (6&8) have been: 1 to swimming, 1 to athletics ( their mum is the Team GB coach) and screeching around on their bikes all afternoon. Their mum has been doing some local coaching; DH has been to rugby with DS, and all I have done is have a nap, done some washing and made the girls' tea. Now having wine and will no doubt fall asleep soon. It was a good idea to stop a while. I am not only stopping, but grinding to a halt!

CeliaGransnet (GNHQ) Sat 22-Sept-12 18:35:15

Jeni so sorry you're having problems uploading your pics - do shout if it doesn't get sorted. And Greatnan, apologies to you too. Do get in touch if you are still having problems next time you try to upload photos.

whitewave Sat 22-Sept-12 18:14:41

Beautiful day here too - so off to Pulborough Harvest Fair which we enjoyed - Off out this evening for a meal at a friend's house. Bought her a pot of jam as a little gift at the Fair and will take wine and chocs.

Tomorrow is forecast very wet and windy.

annodomini Sat 22-Sept-12 18:10:14

when, what lovely day for a wedding. If it's been nice here, how much better in the Lakes! sunshine

Greatnan Sat 22-Sept-12 18:00:43

Good luck with Tech, jeni - I have been trying to load some photos for six months. The best they could do for me was to put up some pictures which I e-mailed to them, but I haven't been able to show all the good ones of my grandson's wedding. I am hoping Anno will be able to post some of her holiday withe me.

anneandgraham Sat 22-Sept-12 17:56:48
