Apart from choosing a new name, I've been slathering Germolene on insect bites - how lovely is that? My new name doesn't make one think of Germolene and insect bites! It's the time of year for these and I'm covered in large itchy bumps...

, and I hoped it would. Hydrocortisone cream usually works well with me, but these little blighters must have more 'itchy stuff' in their bits at the moment. I like the smell of Germolene as well, glass! Homely! 
When I was in Thailand I wouldn't have lasted a minute without Tiger Balm. I was bitten half to death and although I was covered in ugly red weals at least the itchiness was relieved. Wonderful stuff Tiger Balm. (Just as an aside did you know that 'weal' is an archaic word for riches or prosperity?)
And why is it that my feeble brain can so easily remember such useless information, but readily forgets the important stuff?
I'm going down to the chemist to get some Tiger Balm - and I meant to type itchy BITES not itchy BITS...

Hi Marelli is there something you need to tick to complete your name change? Just tried to pm you to say I happily recognised who you are and a litte box came up to say I need to send the pm to a recognisable username. Perhaps someone might know how that's happened - anyone?
