acsess for my granddaughter

please can some one help me me and my granddaughter are desperate to see my grandchildren and her sisters iv been to social services (what a waste of time) we have written call text but to no avail i am risently widowed and cart afford a solicitor can anyone help ?

jan123 you are clearly very distressed and I am so sorry for your difficulties. I am not sure exactly what the situation is; can I assume that your grandchildren are looked after by the local authority - what used to be called 'in care'? It really depends on the legal situation but as a social worker I would be happy to offer any advice I can, please pm me if you prefer.

I know that many others on here have experienced this from your side of the fence and between them they have a wealth of knowledge to offer.
