jan123 you are clearly very distressed and I am so sorry for your difficulties. I am not sure exactly what the situation is; can I assume that your grandchildren are looked after by the local authority - what used to be called 'in care'? It really depends on the legal situation but as a social worker I would be happy to offer any advice I can, please pm me if you prefer.
