Calling all GOOFs

My mum was a gadget queen (she had all of the tupperware ones!) which may be why I am wary! She once bought a magnetic window cleaner.. two magnetic wiper blades so you could clean in and out simultaneously..... you just had to remember not to take the inside blade off the window..... poor mum spent more time running up and down stairs to retrieve the outside blade whilst we, her loving kids just fell about laughing!

Of course! Where else would I use a hedge cutter?

In the kitchen?

Got most of the above except am still thinking about the Kindle Fire. But I did treat myself to a second-top of the range Magimix and a cordless hedge cutter!

Laptop/Kindle/Samsung Galaxy mobile/digital camera/i-pod/DVD player/Freeview box/ digital radio/ cd player for entertainment & communication
Only techie stuff I have for cooking are a microwave & a hand-blender.

I can just about use the fancy bits on the remote to record /replay stuff but I am reasonably computer literate!

Don't think I will qualify as a GOOF... though I fancy an i-pad

I have gained a little savvy with my computer, I have a pay as you go phone which has about £10 a year put on it, Hubby puts the dvd timer thingy going, I bought a lovely Toyota sewing machine but can't get to grips with instructions.

So respect to all you ladies who are technical whizz kids.

I have the Kenwood jeni I've made a few banana cakes and Victoria sponges with it but would have to consult the instructions to do anything else

I've got most of them including a kenwood with all the gadgets (I haven't used it yet )
I fancy the clock, or the one that gradually simulates dawn, or both
