London there is a thing called the new age university ask google. It is interesting, it's for us oldies and they do all sort's of thing's to join. It's title is university of the third age may be helpful.

It's worth remembering that this is an open site and anyone can read what we write on it - as some of us have learned to our cost . Am I being funny to say I do not see it as a "chat room" as such but a forum (oops I rememember that fracas) where we can share comments or exchange views etc.

Something we must all remain aware of, Elegran. We may become lulled into a sense of believing all is secure and safe, just because many of us are comfortable with each other, but it's wise to stay alert at all times.

DO NOT under any circumstances give your main email address to someone until you are QUITE sure that they are on the level and are not going to take advantage of it to invade your privacy. Likewise, do not agree to meet anyone unless you are quite sure of their credentials, and make sure that someone reliable knows where you are and with whom, and has a phone number to contact you, and that you have a number which you can ring if you are not happy.
