I would like to buy my Grandma a present for Xmas, she is 89 years old, lives alone in her bungalow, she is quite active for her age and she means the world to me.
She sits in her chair quite alot and has several cushions on it, that she is forever re-arranging to get comfortable. She does suffer hugely with a bad back and her spine is bending so to speak.
I would like to get her a cushion that supports her back and comfortably for her bottom too, she does not like anything that is modern looking too, I have looked on various sites and they are so expensive.
Is anyone able to advise/help etc with my problem please??

Is it worth looking around for a decent second hand recliner chair?

Charlie is your grandma eligible for these support cushions via her GP or health visitor? My sister had support cushions brought to her when she was ill and had to sit in one chair for long periods of time. They aren't pretty, but you could provide nice covers for them smile

My mum is 85 and she has a V shaped pillow that she uses in her chair. Mum had osteoporosis in her spine so needs something supportive. If you gave a look on Amazon they are very reasonably priced, you can also buy the pillowcase to fit. (Mum has 2 pillowcases) smile

Are you going to come back and say "Actually, I've found something really good. And link to your latest 'innovation'? Or am I being paranoid? Apologies if I am.

I think Charlie has posted before asking for suggestions for his mum or gran which then allows him to tell us about the wonderful product he has discovered, surprise, surprise it just happens to be available from blah, blah. He has been removed before.
