C'mon let's stick up for the over 50s. Who are your heart-throbs. Let's say over 50. Preferably well over. And alive!

For me:
Helen Mirren
Albert Finney
Charlotte Rampling
Joan Bakewell
Clive James (I hope he's still alive!)
Anthony Hopkins
Felicity Kendal
Harry Belafonte (he doesn't need to sing)
James Dyson (Designer)
Richard Rogers (Architect)

Now that would be the basis for a fun party! Now where's that thread on favourite cocktail recipes?

I live a sheltered life grin But nobody controls what goes on in my head; certainly I don't! gringrin

annodomini Sat 10-Nov-12 11:36:36

Johnny Mathis is still alive at only 75 - maybe not kicking but still alive!

Nanadog Sat 10-Nov-12 11:33:09

Glad to see someone way back mentioned Montalbano _ he's my current secret obsession - perhaps we could share him ???? Nobody seems to have mentioned Judi Dench among the women and she still looks so attractive. And there's always Sheila Hancock (how sad that we have lost John Thaw, he would have been an obvious choice) I must have a thing about irascible policemen!

soop Fri 09-Nov-12 11:54:09

As they say, crimson There is a special someone for each and every one of us. I bags John Suchet [all to myself] and I'll share the rest with you lot. wink

jeni Thu 08-Nov-12 20:51:32

crimson Thu 08-Nov-12 18:28:38

soop Thu 08-Nov-12 16:29:13

jO5 Thu 08-Nov-12 14:06:48

soop! You've just got the 'I wants'. About vaccy cleaners. hmm

soop Thu 08-Nov-12 13:51:52

I quite fancy the charming chap who invented the Dyson...he goes by that name, I believe. He has a warm plummy voice...blush

absentgrana Thu 08-Nov-12 09:43:32

baubles But that doesn't prevent you from fantasising, should you want to.

baubles Thu 08-Nov-12 09:37:05

Many a good tune played on an old fiddle grin

Anyhoo, I would only want to talk to him!

absentgrana Thu 08-Nov-12 09:21:30

janeainsworth Isn't the brain said to be the body's main sexual organ? Sex appeal is surely more than a pretty, if now slightly lined face.

janeainsworth Thu 08-Nov-12 08:12:50

Leonard Cohen I think isthis not one of my personal favourites!

isthisallthereis Thu 08-Nov-12 07:56:15

Who are we talking about?

jO5 Wed 07-Nov-12 23:23:04

Ancient in fact!
