I am glad you enjoyed it!

CHEELU Thu 06-Dec-12 14:04:23

So brilliant thank you for spreading the fun!!

Ana Thu 06-Dec-12 13:41:02

It shows the view from the end of DD's row of terraces round the back - garages, bins and the odd workman's van!

Elegran Thu 06-Dec-12 13:24:52

It seems to give random images of streets which sound similar to mine.

Our house hasn't been located. We appear to have been given one with a gravel path and a funny long window...confused
Our friends homes are not available either. Could be that we're all too far away from civilisation. hmm

Got the same as Nfk it doesn't recognise us peepsxx

soop Wed 05-Dec-12 16:06:08

Good word, jings...makes a nice change grin

Ana Wed 05-Dec-12 15:42:39

I don't recognize anything about the road shown for my address! It even has a single yellow line - none of those round here! grin

I put in next door but one's address and their view is almost the same as my (real) one, so that's all right!

jO5 Wed 05-Dec-12 15:07:50

garndsons?? hmm

jO5 Wed 05-Dec-12 15:07:03

garndsons loved that one too.

jO5 Wed 05-Dec-12 15:06:25

Sorry! it was Ella!

jO5 Wed 05-Dec-12 15:06:04

Yes! That's what I thought Elegran.

Ella46 Wed 05-Dec-12 14:59:38

Yes but it doesn't snow on google maps! grin
It's like that advert for something or other that had a plane going down the road!

Elegran Wed 05-Dec-12 14:50:58

Google maps can do it too. You keep zooming in as far as poss then lift the little yellow man onto the map at the point you want to see.

Greatnan Wed 05-Dec-12 14:36:11

I can't get my block of flats, either, just the village, but it doesn't matter as I can look out of the window at the snow. It is looking good for the skiing season, which usually starts on the 10th, so probably next weekend.

cinnamonstix Wed 05-Dec-12 14:34:38

I put in my address and it gave me another house down the road... I then put in an address 10 doors down, and it gave me the same house again! Pssh.

annodomini Wed 05-Dec-12 14:33:16

It can't find my DS1's address in Sandhurst. I wonder if that's because it's an unadopted road. Got an approximation of DS2's address - all the houses in the cul de sac have the same postcode and his is in a smaller cul de sac just off the main one!

Greatnan Wed 05-Dec-12 14:23:00

soop - have you downloaded Google Earth? I can see my daughter's car in her garden in New Zealand, and move all round her garden.

whenim64 Wed 05-Dec-12 14:19:43

That's nice soop smile

Anne58 Wed 05-Dec-12 14:19:19

Wouldn't be the first time, Greatnan , remember the chap who got into her bedroom?

soop Wed 05-Dec-12 14:16:56

Brilliant! I've seen my youngest son's lovely home for the first time. Now, I'm well and truly hooked. Someone...please drag me off to do what I'm supposed to be doing. wink

Greatnan Wed 05-Dec-12 14:08:20

Do you think she has a stalker, Phoenix?

Anne58 Wed 05-Dec-12 14:05:55

I put in Buckingham Palace, I don't think her Maj will be any too chuffed with the view until the owner of that car moves it. It's been there for ages....

Greatnan Wed 05-Dec-12 14:02:02

Try putting in the address next door if you don't get a good view of your own house.

jO5 Wed 05-Dec-12 13:58:13

That is so great! Have sent link to grandsons. smile
