It shows the view from the end of DD's row of terraces round the back - garages, bins and the odd workman's van!

It seems to give random images of streets which sound similar to mine.

Our house hasn't been located. We appear to have been given one with a gravel path and a funny long window...
Our friends homes are not available either. Could be that we're all too far away from civilisation.

I don't recognize anything about the road shown for my address! It even has a single yellow line - none of those round here!

I put in next door but one's address and their view is almost the same as my (real) one, so that's all right!

Google maps can do it too. You keep zooming in as far as poss then lift the little yellow man onto the map at the point you want to see.

I can't get my block of flats, either, just the village, but it doesn't matter as I can look out of the window at the snow. It is looking good for the skiing season, which usually starts on the 10th, so probably next weekend.

I put in my address and it gave me another house down the road... I then put in an address 10 doors down, and it gave me the same house again! Pssh.

It can't find my DS1's address in Sandhurst. I wonder if that's because it's an unadopted road. Got an approximation of DS2's address - all the houses in the cul de sac have the same postcode and his is in a smaller cul de sac just off the main one!

soop - have you downloaded Google Earth? I can see my daughter's car in her garden in New Zealand, and move all round her garden.

I put in Buckingham Palace, I don't think her Maj will be any too chuffed with the view until the owner of that car moves it. It's been there for ages....

Try putting in the address next door if you don't get a good view of your own house.
