Bags well done you! It's a lovely feeling to have subdued that kind of fear (won't say conquered because in my experience that takes some time). Glad you're home safe and well. 
Back home successfully, dead chuffed. Nothing but having got to a time when I was ready made me do this, which is pleasing. I didn't want to have to cope with such a 'first' in an emergency – ambulances, unless they are four wheel drive, can't get up to our house - too much heavy equipment weighing them down; we know this from when DH's mum needed some treatment - the paramedics had to walk up and leave the ambulance at the bottom.
We made shelters at Cubs out of cardboard boxes and old sacks, and then played mad games involving spoons.
